Biography:
MD, FACOG, FACS, Chief, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Holy Cross Hospital.
Dr. Daniel Gomez is chair of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Gomez is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.

Conference description:
The consequences of COVID 19 infection in pregnant women are being investigated. There is limited data, but there is no evidence that they are at increased risk for this disease like the general population, but due to the transformations that their bodies and immune systems undergo, pregnant women can be severely affected by some respiratory infections.
